“What makes this translation unique is that it has been edited by kids, for kids. I have worked diligently with a team of students (mostly grade 2-5) to identify difficult words and replace them with easier ones that carry the same meaning. As for the words we couldn’t replace, they are explained in the glossary, along with the Arabic terms used in this book. With the help of qualified Islamic and public school teachers and professional editors, we made sure that the translation is accurate and accessible.” – Mustafa Khattab
Wooden Quran stand. “13 x 6” High. Great for the Clear Quran.
This humble effort is an attempt to facilitate the Tilaawah of the Quran with Tajweed. 8 different color shades have been used and each colour represents a Tajweed Rule. The color coding system has been introduced to highlight the rules of Tajweed found in the Quranic text.
Having a color block on the Tajweed Rule allow the reciter to emphasize the accent, phonetics, rhythm and temper of the Quranic recitation. It is imperative for the reciter to have a working knowledge of the rules of Tajweed in order to know how to pronounce the letters on which emphasis has to be laid.
The 30 Parts of the Quran (Non-Tajweed) have 30 pieces in one box. It’s in indo-pak Arabic style. Which is in huge letters that is great for those who have vision problems. It’s easy to carry one juzz (parts) for madrasah.
May be different than what is shown on the picture.
This is the universally popular Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation, unique in this edition by having its Arabic script be the script commonly familiar with by those of Indian or Pakistani upbringing, i.e. “Persian script.”
The Quran is a book of directions, showing man the right path to tread. It is a Light which guides his faltering steps, giving him timely reminders of Allah’s will, awakening his sleeping nature and conveying the Lord’s admonition. It is a book that, in giving him the moral sense to distinguish right from wrong, cures him, and his society, of all ills. In that sense, it is a book of wisdom, full of every expression of correct understanding. More, it is a book of laws, laying down for us the very foundations on which to build and organize society. In short, it provides everything that man-as an individual and as member of society-can ever need. Without this, man can never be the gainer, no matter how hard he tries.
